Q: How do I know how much time you have
spent on undertaking my work?
A: After the first hour, our time-management
system operates in 15 minute increments. Our aim is to undertake
your task(s) effectively, and efficiently, encouraging you to use
the service regularly; hence we do not bill in excess of time spent.
After the first hour booked is completed, our unique billing system
recognises that some extended tasks simply do not require the additional
'whole' hour of work, and so allows for smaller, more discrete and
accurate billing.
Q: The services
specify "+ Expenses" but I don't want to incur a vast
amount of extra costs.
A: When taking the booking, Busy Lizzie
will agree a limit to each additional expense, above which they
will call you to authorise. "Expenses" refers to the cost
of items purchased for you (food, flowers, etc) or costs of services
such as, paying a plumber or mechanic.
Q: You say
you have a network of tried and trusted caterers and suppliers.
What does this actually mean?
A: Busy Lizzie will not recommend
a company unless our close associates have used them before and
found them reputable.
Q: With whom is the agreement
with third party suppliers: Busy Lizzie's or us the customer?
A: Busy Lizzie takes the donkey work out
of sourcing a tradesman, caterer or supplier, by researching the
market, getting quotations, undertaking price comparisons and checking
the business has all the right credentials. It is the client's ultimate
decision which supplier to select. Any contract undertaken thereafter,
between the client and that sourced company, is not the responsibility
of Busy Lizzie. Once a client has entered into a contract with a
recommended supplier, any subsequent issues should be dealt with
them directly.
Certain projects will require an initial consultation meeting which is €35 for social meetings and €40 for corporate meetings, in addition to mileage at €0.80/mile.
